Key requirements • Previous experience managing a large sales team is essential • Emotional resilience is required, as is the ability to work well under pressure • You should be able to demonstrate evidence of meeting challenging targets, preferably demonstrating the growth of a team financially. • You must be a self-motivated, charismatic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. • You will have the ability to lead from the front and by example, offering guidance and support to keep team morale high • You will have a desire to exceed all targets but continue to strive to improve your performance for your own personal satisfaction. • Experience within the energy industry is essential due to the senior nature of this position Responsibilities • You will continuously manage and support the Sales team with their daily targets • Tracking, analysing and updating all KPI information in order to keep accurate sales and commissions records. • You will continuously support all Sales team members through their career development, including identifying ad-hoc training needs and to review their performance regularly. • You will support new members of the Sales team, offering them guidance and helping them fulfil their potential • As part of the management team you will prepare and organise regular one to one meetings with members of the Sales Team and schedule any associated meetings • Liaising with HR to manage all absences including return to work interviews • To liaise with departments to support recruitment of staff into the team including holding interviews • Outbound calling SME business customers to generate leads promoting our fantastic online energy auction service • You will look to add value to our business by supporting growth both within the team and financially • Full and ongoing training and support will be given to ensure you are up to date with our extensive range of products and service and maintain an appropriate level of industry knowledge If you are looking to take on a new, challenging role within the lucrative energy industry, that will enable you to catapult your career forward, then we would like to hear from you!
