We are looking to recruit  to a permanent post an enthusiastic hardworking housing caretaker to join our other 2 caretakers who all work 25 Hours per week Monday to Friday 9.15am - 3pm.
Ideally you will have experience of cleaning and caretaking duties which forms a major part of the role. A flexible attitude to resolving immediate issues and priorities  is essential
You will working outdoors in our stairwells and communal grounds undertaking duties which will include Cleaning, Minor Maintenance Tasks, Health and Safety Checks, Garage Inspections, Grounds Maintenance Duties and  reacting to  Fly tipped rubbish/litter Reports.
You will need to be physically fit and active as the role will involve a degree of manual labour and handling and lifting. Applicants must have an ability to clean to high standards, undertake basic caretaking duties and carry out grounds maintenance tasks.
Applicants should have good communication skills and be able to complete simple daily records and enjoy working with and resolving customer enquiries reports and issues.
Interested applicants will have a good standard of education and a driving licence is an essential requirement as each caretaker will be required to be responsible for driving a council owned vehicle.
